You Be The Judge.

Aug. 18, 2005. I went to public schools so that may explain my ignorance about how government in the United States of America is supposed to function. There are three branches in that government, the legislative, the executive and the judicial. And, there are supposed to be checks and balances with this system so that none of the three gets out of hand. There seems to be a real dog fight in America between those who are politically on the far left and those who are politically just left of center. Those just left of center politically are better known as Republicans, and often referred to as conservatives. The far left group is known as Democrats, Marxists, Socialists, or Communists depending upon your level of understanding and objective analysis.

Do I think everyone who calls themselves a Republican is also left of center politically? No. Do I think all named as Democrats are also Commies? No. However I do think the ruling class in the U.S. Government's, is very definitely left of center.

Why do we hear so much haggling about whether or not one certain man or woman will be the correct person to appoint to a position of judge in our nation's court system? I ask, "What difference does it make?". We talk about corrupt people in high places yet none ever seem to loose their positions of power for their bad behavior, but we continue to reelect the same bums, the bums who are supposed to do something about tyrannical judges who rewrite our laws with their faulty interpretations of the US Constitution. And, remember Clinton was considered a bum by many, but the bums who could have kicked him out said they couldn't do that to a popular president. So okay, it's not about right and wrong, it's about who is popular.

Another thing; who enforces the law-writing of the renegade courts? Is that power not in the hands of the executive branch? Hey, Mr. President George W. Bush, can you not help fight the war here at home, or do you prefer the ones on the other side of the globe?

I'm tired of the current debate about nominees to our nation's court system. If you and I don't hold our elected officials accountable, then we will continue to be lead by the corrupt elite who tax you into oblivion and make laws contrary to your best interest. I say throw the bums (accurate even if redundant) out during the next election. ........and that's.........
