Deceiving Spirits, Not Holy Spirit Directing Episcopal Leaders

August 7, 2003. On Tuesday 8/5/03 Episcopal bishops voted 62 in favor, 45 against the installation of the church's first homosexual bishop. I wasn't surprised, but certainly disturbed that that many high level leaders in the name (supposedly) of Jesus Christ would make such a decision. Almost more disturbing were the answers I heard the head of an Episcopal seminary give to news reporters when asked if homosexuality is a sin. He danced around the question with a few comments and part of his answer basically was that they (Episcopal leaders) do not pay attention to the Book (Bible), but they instead listen to the Holy Spirit......funny, sad, and tragic.....that's how I saw it. It was funny because it was such an outrageous statement; sad because he and others are being deceived by satanic spirits, and tragic that leaders in such an organization have, are, and will lead so many others astray unless drastic measures are taken by Bible believing people....am I correct, or is this just.............

The Dark Side of Nine Wearing Black Robes

July 1, 2003. Last week the Supreme Court struck down a Texas sodomy law. In the 6-3 decision Justice Anthony, author of the majority opinion said that the Texas law "demeans the lives of homosexual persons." He also said, "The state cannot demean their existence or control their destiny by making their private sexual conduct a crime."

So it seems to me the un-elected nine who sit in the nation's highest court is now telling the rest of us that we cannot make laws forbidding sexual perversion. Calling sexual perversion a crime could control someone's destiny, huh? Why bother with calling robbery a crime? We can't do that, it might control that person's destiny! Murder? If it is done in private we can't invade that space and call it a crime, can we?

Taking it to the ultimate ridiculous conclusion that nothing is a crime in private for it might demean thieves, murderers, rapists and others once thought to be cancers in society, then we would have no need for police, lawyers, and yes we would have no use for judges. The first laws established in America were to help us align ourselves with God's laws. Or, as someone has said, "Our purpose is to discover God's law." Some behaviors, including homosexuality, are clearly against God's law and have been considered bad behavior by most people for centuries.

I think it obvious that our republican form of government is falling apart. The founders of our country knew we could survive only if people of honor made, administered and interpreted our laws. I can't take credit for this next statement and I don't know who said what I heard a few years ago, but it will be worth your time to consider..................."Let me tell you something about the Supreme Court......it isn't!" You can agree or disagree about the One who is Supreme, but I frankly think this country will soon tank unless God fearing people revolt, and that's....

Genderbenders

June 14, 2003. Do you ever wish for a return to good ole days, the time when boys knew they were boys, and girls knew they were girls? It seems many today are undecided about their gender. For graduating high school seniors who are confused about their gender there is real opportunity at a couple colleges.

For example Wesleyan University in Connecticut is providing freshman students this fall with the option of living in a "gender-blind" facility. This "gender-blind" facility is a living space reserved for students who don't want to be categorized as one gender or another. Here we go, this is how it works. "Okay class, all guys move to the left wall of the room and the gals move to the right. Any who do not wish to be classified as male or female, please stay seated. We will later assign you to a gender-blind facility. Your roommate will be assigned to you without the consideration of gender."

The dean of students, Mike Whaley said there are a dozen or more transgender students on campus. Apparently students who know their gender are uncomfortable with those who are "transitioning", thus the reason the school wants to accommodate the genderbenders.The school named for John Wesley, has obliviously lost its roots in Christianity. Among the offerings at Wesley is a course on pornography and a homosexual prom.

Wesleyan in Connecticut is not the only genderbender college. Students at Smith College in Massachusetts have voted to replace all references to "she" and "her" in their constitution with gender-neutral terms. The change was made because there is a growing number of transgender people who feel uncomfortable with female pronouns according to the Daily Hampshire Gazette. "Smith College is a college for women, and within that there is a place for all kinds of women," said Brenda Allen, director of institutional diversity, according to the paper.

However, Maureen Mahoney, the dean of the college, said the issue of sex-reassignment surgery raises complex issues the school has not fully addressed. Nevertheless, she said while Smith is a women's college and only accepts women, the school has no intention of rejecting students who undergo the surgery while a student. "There is no mechanism, nor would we want to go around monitoring anyone," said Mahoney. "It's a complicated situation, and we're responding to it and learning at the same time."

Smith has been an all-female college, but they could now be classified a all female/gender-neutral/transgender college. Anyone may apply except "All-American" males who walk, talk and act like they know they are men. You may think students who are confused about their gender have a problem. True, but a greater problem have we is when colleges in these United States of America make special consideration for such misfits. Am I right? Or, is this just..................

Ignorant Republican Leaders

June 7, 2003. In my last B.O. piece I called Democrats ignorant, so here is a little equal time. Marc Racicot, Republican Party Chairman recently showed his ignorance. After meeting with some homosexual lobbyists Racicot said,"They (Christians) probably don't know gay people." He also said Christians have a lot of misinformation and disinformation that is used for political expediency. So basically the chairman of the national Republican party is saying the we Christians are ignorant with respect to homosexuality, and that we use bad information to form our opinions that affect the way we vote. Racicot's statements were like blaze orange in the spotlight.....he truly showed HIS IGNORANCE. Or, he is playing both ends against the middle. We Christians have seen that too often.

Marc Racicot is just one of many liberal Republicans that could just as well fit in the Democratic Party since the Dems are known to represent liberal ideas. The consequence is that big government gets bigger and family values, particularly Christian values are under continual attack. Most of the attack comes from the ungodly outside the government, but then our lawmakers yield to the antifamily, anti-Christian groups by making laws to accommodate liberal ideals like abortion, same sex marriage, protected status for homosexuals, etc.

I don't get overly excited when a Republican leader, including President George W. Bush, shows his liberal tenancies because I frankly don't think there is enough difference between the two parties. Until we as individuals, one by one, family by family, community by community change our hearts from the inside out, our country will not improve from a Christian perspective. And that's...............

Ignorant Democrats

May 24, 2003. I know, the title of this has gotten the attention of some Democrats. I should point out that a factual report led to that title, it is not just my Biased Opinion. . A May 13 CBS report of a survey showed that only 64 percent of respondent Democrats could name at least one of the 8-9 Democratic Party candidates running for president. Among all respondents, Democrat, Republican and Independent only 66% could name at least one Democratic presidential candidate. So okay, Republicans and Independents are pretty ignorant too.

The poll also had a question that asked which party would likely do the most for education, and 71% thought the Democrats can do the best job. Is that a knee-slapper or what? Respondents are too ignorant to know who is running for president in the Democratic party, but they are pretty sure the Democrats can do a better job at educating people! So I ask, "Who educated those morons who responded to the poll?" Considering the fact that the National Educational Association is such a strong lobby group for teachers (supposedly), they have such high support for Democrats, and that the Dems have dominated national politics for about half a century which coinsides with the dumbing down of America's students, there is no sane, objective positive correlation between reality and what people answered in that poll. In fact, the correlation is negative. The NEA promotes Democratic Party candidates, people have become more ignorant of politics while under leadership of Democrats, and the ignorant think Democrats do the best job in strengthening education.

My conclusion is this: elite politicians, Republican and Democrat alike, are not ignorant, but their success depends upon having at least 51% of us being ignorant as to their schemes. It's a viscous cycle; the elite decieve the ignorant; the ignorant elect the elite, the elite decieve the Ignorant, and the cycle continues. Democrats have had a stronghold on Washington politics for many decades and are better than Republicans at keeping the voting ignorant on their side..............I may have it right, or that may just be ..........

Diversimaniacs

May 17, 2003. Diversity stinks. No, I take that back; diversity really really really stinks!!.......at least in the way that the ruling elites try to make and implement policies for the the rest of us to follow. While there are many examples of the actions of diversimaniacs I could call to your attention, there are two recent ones I wish to highlight.

It seems rather obvious that the New York Times hired Jayson Blair, an unqualified college dropout as a reporter based upon the color of his skin in order to show the rest of us how they honor the diversity code of ethics........and then after dozens of untrue and plagiarized stories by Blair, the Times finally fired him (excuse me, allowed him a chance to resign). This delay by the Times obviously told the rest of us that they had no problem violating a code of ethics for news reporting rather than violate diversity and politically correct codes.

A little farther south in the town of Glen Campbell, PA, teacher's aide Brenda Nichol has been given a one-year suspension without pay for wearing a cross necklace. You know how it goes, let's be tolerant and diverse just so long as we are talking about anything other than Christianity. The cross, a symbol of the Lord Jesus Christ cannot be tolerated in the school house where impressionable minds reside for 30+ hours a week. No, no, we can't have that kind of diversity. We can't have teachers entering their classrooms with crosses hanging around their necks.

Somehow I get the impression that it would be okay for a sexually disoriented teacher to enter the classroom with a condom hanging on his ear as an introduction to his "coming out of the closet" in order to help break down the barriers with regard to sexual preferences, gender identity, homophobia, etc........I could be correct........or this could just be.......

YWCA Needs Name Change

May 9, 2003. The Young Women's Christian Association should change their name. In fact, Christians should demand it, or at least denounce them as being an organization of Christians. The YWCA recently announced that Patricia Ireland will be the new president of this national organization. If you don't know who Ireland is check news sources to get more information than you really need to know.

Liberals love to state various modifications of the Scripture, ("Do not judge, or you too will be judged. Matt 7:1, NIV) They love to quote that part of the Bible thinking they can silence the voices of those who call their hand with regard to issues of morality. The YWCA is not the only so-called Christian organization that has lost its way and become anti-Christian. Christians should boldly repudiate such organizations and individuals.

The recent news that Patricia Ireland is being hired to head up the YWCA is totally outrageous,. and that's...............
