The End of The Bill Clinton Era?

November 4, 2004. The election results showed me that the Bill Clinton Era is over. People voted in 2004 as they should have 12 years ago when Bill Clinton was a mere candidate for president. I don't think America ever approved of Bill Clinton's character, but too many where just complacent and thought there was no harm in having such a lowlife in the White House. He was such a con man that his charm fooled many people and it carried the day for many years. However his behavior including his habitual lying and seemingly habitual skirt-chasing took root in our culture and has had disastrous results. Everything from oral sex among school children to the Democrats choosing John Kerry as their presidential candidate was the fruit of that bad seed. The Democrat's relentless efforts to support abortion on demand for any reason and their open support of perverted sexual behavior made it clear to most Americans that the Democratic Party was morally bankrupt.

The post election analysis by many are concluding that moral values, not the war on terror, was the top issue with voters. Praise the Lord, people are beginning to wake up. It is no longer "It's the economy, stupid." One reason the election results are encouraging to me is that people voted for morality because they knew what was best for the people, and thus the country. The people voted against John Kerry and the Democrats rather than for the Republicans. The Republican Party can claim practically no credit for this voting result. In fact, I am very displeased that the Bush campaign kept avoiding the two issues that probably influenced Christians most, abortion and homosexual rights.

My biggest concern now is that Christians will get the idea that the Republican Party is the party that stands for morality; they don't, they just won by default because the leaders in the Democratic Party were such an absolute disgrace. ........and that's........
