A New Season for Psalm 23 Camp
Since 1985, Psalm 23 Camp has been a place where lives have been touched through faith, fellowship, and service. After decades of ministry and a season of rest, a new chapter is beginning.
Today, we are prayerfully preparing for the camp to become a place set apart for prayer, rest, and restoration. Nestled in the mountains of West Virginia, our vision is to provide a peaceful refuge where individuals, families, pastors, and missionaries can step away from everyday distractions, draw near to the Lord, and find restoration for their souls.

Our Story Since 1985
In 1985, Dennis and Glenda Rowan founded Psalm 23 Camp on their family farm in Gap Mills, West Virginia. What began as a simple tent camp for local children grew into a ministry that welcomed thousands of volunteers from across the country. Through Servants at Work (S.A.W.), generations of campers experienced the joy of serving others, growing in faith, and sharing the love of Jesus Christ.
Remembering Dennis Rowan
In April 2025, Psalm 23 Camp lost its co-founder, Dennis Rowan. Together with his wife, Glenda, Dennis established the camp in 1985 with a heart to share the love of Jesus Christ and serve others.
For nearly 40 years, his faithfulness helped make Psalm 23 Camp a place where generations of young people encountered God, grew in their faith, and learned the value of serving others.
