From its inception in 1985 Psalm 23 Camp has been a family operated camp located on our 300-acre family farm. I am the fourth generation to live on the farm. After I spent about 20 years in academia we returned to the home farm to raise sheep in 1982.
My wife, Glenda Martin Rowan also has a farm background. She was born near Hunter, N.D. and spent her first eight years there before her family moved to Missouri where they continued to farm. We don’t sponsor a Rowan and Martin Laugh In, but we do think laughter is part of a healthy Christian life.
Glenda and I have a keen interest in the land, America’s rich history in agriculture, its rich Christian heritage, and we believe the farm is a great place for both farm and non-farm people to visit.
Additional information about the history of the camp can be found at Camp History.
Thanks for visiting our web site and if you get the opportunity, come visit our farm/camp.
In His service,
Dennis Rowan
